Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle different floors. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the best models work with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
This robot combination is simple to set up and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space around obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris but they can't reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to accomplish this. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
